Morgan Stanley cuts Sensex target by 12% to 82,000 on Trump tariff fears
India’s relatively low market volatility is supporting its strong performance despite the global downturn, even as the index may touch multi-month lows, said Morgan Stanley’s Ridham Desai. In the same report, the brokerage cut its FY26 GDP growth forecast by 40 basis points to 6.1% and projected a slower recovery in FY27 at 6.3%.
