According to AMFI’s monthly figures, some 15 new mutual funds were introduced to the market in July, bringing in a total of Rs 16,565 crore. This is how everything ended.
2 Biggest contribution
Max Contribution of Rs 9,790 crore was made by thematic and sectoral funds. There were just two introduced: the ICICI Prudential Energy Opportunities Fund and the Edelweiss Business Cycle Fund.
6 Index Fund
Roughly Rs 2,651 Cr received by six index funds. Among the well-known funds introduced in this category were the Tata Nifty India Tourism Index Fund, the Motilal Oswal Nifty India Defence Index Fund, and the Kotak BSE PSU Index Fund.
1 Multi Cap Fund
Franklin India Multi Cap Fund was the only multicap fund to raise Rs 3,945 crore.
