MFs buy big amid market correction in October, target top Nifty stocks
Indian markets fell in October due to disappointing profits, continued foreign investor outflows, and increased geopolitical concerns in the Middle East; local mutual funds (MFs) took an aggressive attitude, purchasing blue-chip companies. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold over Rs 94,000 crore in October, while mutual funds (MFs) made net purchases of over Rs 92,000 crore in domestic shares.
