With a wide range of schemes, 32 equity mutual funds in India celebrated their 25th anniversary this year. ELSS funds comprise seven of them, large-cap funds comprise six, flexi and large-cap funds comprise five, mid-cap funds comprise four, value funds comprise two, and contra, multi, and small-cap funds comprise one each.
This year, 32 equity mutual funds celebrated 25 years in the Indian mutual fund business, with other mutual fund houses introducing new schemes that hit the market daily. Six largecap funds, five flexi and large cap funds, four midcap funds, two value funds, one contra, multi, and smallcap fund, and about seven of these 32 schemes are ELSS funds.
