HDFC Data Breach: 1.6 Cr customer’s info of HDFC Life Insurance Company Found Circulated On Dark Web, Says Cybersecurity Experts

A significant data breach has exposed up to 1.6 crore HDFC Life Insurance customers’ personal information, according to CyberPeace’s study.

The stolen data is being sold in large quantities, with records starting at one million entries.

The stolen data includes policy numbers, names, email addresses, mobile numbers, dates of birth, home addresses, and health statuses.

CyberPeace claims that this private client information is being sold on a Dark Web forum for $2,000,000 USDT (Tether cryptocurrency).

The disclosure of this personal data, particularly policy numbers, caused CyberPeace to warn people about potential threats, asking them to remain vigilant and take the required steps.
